Astral People are proud to present the future of electronic music and club experience in a single, intimate venue as Berlin's Objekt join Michigan's Laurel Halo and South-Londoner Jam City for a night of universal sound on Sydney's best sound system.

OBJEKT (TOKYO/BERLIN - HESSLE AUDIO)

A native instruments software developer with a degree in electronic engineering, Objekt's (TJ Hertz) passion for unique, bottom-heavy techno has pushed speakers from the clubs of Tokyo to the basements of Berlin. From self-released White Labels to collaborations with SBTRKT and a release on the acclaimed Hessle Audio, Objekt is now a firm tastemaker favourite counting DJs like Oneman, Jamie XX and Night Slugs as his biggest fans.

LAUREL HALO (USA - HYPERDUB)

With releases on Hippo's in Tanks, RVNG Intl and Kode 9's Hyperdub, Laurel Halo's recorded soundscapes (direct from Ann Arbor, Michigan) carve a visceral shape in American Electronic Music.

Her debut 'Hour Logic' was released in 2011 to great fanfare before releasing under the club-oriented pseudonym King Felix. Having just released her latest EP 'Behind the Green Door' on Hyperdub, her sound embodies a future take on Michigan's long-lasting legacy: Techno, Soul and the outer rings of the electronic universe through a bleak yet optimistic digital landscape.

An adept improviser and soundsmith, her live sets are heavy, looming and aggressive; techno and house influences commuting into drifting, disorienting sound-spheres. In short: like nothing else you've ever seen.

JAM CITY (NIGHT SLUGS/UK)

Conceived between the legacy of Chicago house, Detroit techno, Grime and Club muziks, Jam City's emotionally charged blueprints pay homage to influences both musical and meta-physical. Releasing almost exclusively on the acclaimed Night Slugs imprint, his EP's (from the liquid grime of 'Magic Drops' to his highly sought-after Ecstasy Refix) has presented him as one of the UK's most unique visionaries.

In 2012 the young South Londoner released his debut LP 'Classical Curves' to worldwide acclaim with a myriad of projects on the horizon. Expect elegance, violence, electricity, crashed motorcycles, parks at night and missed phone calls in a melting point of uninhibited rhythm.
