SOLD OUT (seated show) Featuring: KITCHEN WITCH,DILETTANTES & HEINOUS CRIMES
A series of three gigs, with three bands, across three pubs, over three weekends will hit Adelaide venues at the nose-end of spring. In true pub-rock tradition, beer specials and denim raffles will likely be on the menu, but we know one thing is for sure, after the year we’ve had, local rockers are pretty damn ready to hit the stage and get sweaty.
Along with the obvious Iggy Pop reference, The NO FUN series comes from a running theme we have noticed over the past months, where ‘NO’ has been the operative action in developments around COVID-19 and gatherings in venues (for good health and safety reasons of course). But this has been a heavy hit time for an industry so used to saying YES, where venues play an important role in our creative musical families, lending a stage to so many bands and a warm atmosphere for fans.
First week: ENIGMA BAR Sat Oct 10th
Doors 8.30pm
Now more than ever, live music venues need our help. A time for artists, promoters and most of all audiences to give back to the venues that have enriched our lives for so long. This is an action of culture, independence, of community uniting to keep our live music pubs and clubs alive and well. This is a salute to the local businesses that have given so much and asked for so little.
**PAY ATTENTION TO RESTRICTIONS**
Please adhere to whatever venue restrictions are in effect at the time of this gig. Our actions have effect on our beloved live music venues, and we want to look after them as they want to look after us. Community-love.
