Jazz standards & originals / Oriental folk songs to Dance music to Hip Hop

William Kiss Quartet includes Olly Williams (Piano), Huon Fox (Double Bass), Alice Richards (Drums), and William Kiss (Guitar). The quartet performs modern interpretations of classic jazz standards as well as original compositions from each group member. Each member has been developing their unique sound and approach to jazz as a student of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, bringing a distinctive style and taste to the collective’s sound!

Eric Tsai Trio - Eric is a guitarist/composer who currently studies Jazz Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Eric has performed all around venues in Sydney, such as Butchers Brew and Lazybones Lounge, and larger festivals such as Smash and Manly Jazz Festival. 

Eric’s music is driven by a basis of firm melodic expression, his compositions and improvisation both giving constant surprises, yet never lose track of development. Accompanied by Dorby Xu (Drums) and Callum Eggins (Electric Bass), the trio communicates with each other spontaneously, creating water-like flow in all songs, compassing emotions from joyfulness to melancholy and vulnerability. The newly written compositions are influenced by all different kinds of backgrounds, from Oriental folk songs to Dance music to Hip Hop. No matter the style, expect to experience the trio’s distinct sound through their exciting story telling, uplifting and soulful qualities in both originals and jazz standards. This is a night not to be missed!
