Love Sensation and Melt, two of Melbourne’s up and coming dance parties, are joining forces and taking over both floors of the Gaso for a jam-packed night of art installations, live music, DJs, dancing and good times.

Following similar trajectories, melt and Love Sensation were both born out of regular house parties and have since moved into throwing nights in clubs and venues.

On their first outing together, the two crews are bringing together a diverse line-up that includes Honey, River Yarra, Moopie, Miss Goldie, DJ Manchild and more. Downstairs, Love Sensation will host a mix of bands and disco, house, funk & soul DJs while melt curate a darker, left-field club vibe upstairs.

The night also features visuals by melt alumni Sharni Sharni Sharni, and newcomers Trewlea Peters and Ned Dann. The entire venue will be fitted out with decor by Love Sensation dream team Ella & Mietta Stoeckli, and installations by melt veterans Sibley Sisters & Calvin Clone as well as Sorcha Mackenzie.
