Leadbelly Live is a monthly night featuring up and coming and established local talent.

Playing times for each act are determined on the night as we draw names out of a hat, so make sure you're there from doors! 

October's edition features: 

Charlie Gradon

After years of introspection, songwriting, mixing, re-mixing, starting again and finishing his songs, Charlie Gradon has emerged from his home studio, ready to return to the Sydney Music Scene. Although looking back, its hard to say he ever left, while he was locked away he was also drumming and singing in one of Sydneys most innovative psych rock acts 'Turtle Skull'. Before his hiatus, Gradon could be found selling out "little features" at Hibernian house once a month, playing solo or with a band. He was playing emotionally charged, captivating folk to pin drop effect, but Gradon then became infatuated with the electrifying nature of psych rock. 

Oak Moon

Oak Moon is a young and professional cover band based in Sydney, Australia. Their unique interpretation of a tastefully selected set-list combines musical sophistication with a super-tight groove. The band's repertoire is continually expanding and straddles a wide range of genres including Neo soul, RnB, Electro Funk, Hip hop and 70's Soul. The four-piece consists of experienced musicians who have honed their skills all over Australia and overseas.

Four

FOUR are a down to earth solid garage rock band made up of members from JAR, BEWILDABEAST and STONE CASTLE! These guys have been rocking pubs and clubs around Sydney, Melbourne, and London, since the late 1990s. Heavily Influenced by Rock bands from the 60s to the 90s these guys serve up a psychedelic soup full of hearty solid rock beef with spices of prog and grunge.
