Feel Closer to the Action as Group 1 racing returns to Eagle Farm for Ladbrokes Derby Day.

Be trackside for an exciting line-up that boasts three million-dollar races: Queensland’s premier staying test for three-year-olds, the Group 1 Ladbrokes Queensland Derby; the middle leg of the season’s sprint triple crown, the Group 1 EVA Air Kingsford Smith Cup; and the Group 2 Aquis Stallions Sires Produce for two-year-olds.

Also always highly anticipated is the Group 3 Fred Best Classic, with the winner earning a start in the coveted The Star Stradbroke Handicap. Last year’s Classic winner Hawaii Five Oh went on to finish third in the Stradbroke, bested for the top honour by 2023 Kingsford Smith Cup winner Think About It.

Feel Closer to Fashion today for the first of the season’s Fashions on the Field Competitions. Dress to impress in your best ‘black and white' outfit for one of the most stylish days  on the racing calendar.

With plenty of packages to choose from, it’s a day to experience raceday hospitality at its finest and unforgettable moments around the track.

Please note as Brisbane Racing Club is a Licenced Venue you may be asked for ID when on course.

Acceptable Forms of ID include: Current Australian driver licence or learner permit, passport (from any country), adult proof of age card, a recognised proof of age card (eg. Keypass identity card) or foreign driver license. These can be hard copy ID or official digital ID. The ID must be current and have a photograph of the person and their date of birth. Expired IDs will not be accepted.

It is an offence for a minor to be on licensed premises in Queensland unless they are accompanied by a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising the minor
