JVG presents Mother’s Day Live at the Brunswick Ballroom

"I’ve been presenting a mother's day show on the JVG Radio Method on RRR for years. It's my favourite show of the year. Back to back mothers singing songs about motherhood. The joys, the trials, the ecstasy and the mundanity. We have kids running around the studios. Big kids and little kids. And we have partners, siblings and friends helping out musically and domestically. It's an afternoon of motherly energy and talent that happens only once a year.

Last year for the first time the radio show preceded a live expanded version of the show at the very plush Brunswick Ballroom. It was so good last year that we had no choice but to do it again this year. It'll be much the same as last year except it'll be a bit better. 9 singing mothers singing the song they have just sung on the radio and other songs of motherhood. The house band The Mothers' Little Helpers will be expanded. The fabulous Clio Renner will join Craig Pilkington, Nathan Farrelly and Matt Earl.

And a great line-up of mothers
