Inmocean, ACCLAIM and Caroline Australia Present
Hoodlem x Nico Ghost with GXNXVS and Alice Ivy
Ripped fresh from the airwaves and internet alike, mysterious purveyors of off-kilter pop Hoodlem and a fresh force in Australian hip-hop Nico Ghost co-headline Howler on April 16th for a special one night only show. With support from the Gold Coast's producer of hazily beautiful R&B GXNXVS and the soulful and sweet sounds of Alice Ivy, this is one line-up that cements Melbourne's reputation for homing some of the world's most talented emerging artists.
Hoodlem have earnt their standing for 'ones to watch' with their slow jams and thoroughly unique electronica over the course of their debut self-titled EP, (available to pre-order through Caroline Music before it drops on March 25th). With their signature cleverly chaotic melodies and biting lyrics, they have already toured Europe and Canada, casually hit hundreds of thousands of plays on Soundcloud, win over a global fanbase and tastemakers the likes of The Fader, Nylon, Pigeons and Planes and Clash Music.
Out of the depths of the Melbourne scene, Nico Ghost emerged last year to stake his claim with his debut EP 'Kaishi'. The record resulted in a coveted slot at Beyond the Valley Festival an invitation to support US legends Wu-Tang Clan and G-Eazy across Australia. Heralded as an honest new voice, his new single 'Night Terrors' has already dropped to global acclaim.
