***KILTER***
Riding at the forefront of the new wave of electronic producers coming out of Australia is Kilter, AKA Ned East. The young Sydney-based producer's tropically-infused, percussion-laden beats have seen a loyal fan base build among punters, peers and industry types alike. Kilter's infectious and atmospheric sounds have been driving people to the dance floor, but it is his live show that keeps them dancing and sets the electronic whiz kid apart. With an MPC, synths, microKorg and drum pad in tow, his show is a live manifestation that speaks volumes for Kilter as not just a skilled producer, but also as a talented musician. Be it engaging small sweaty clubs or sprawling festival fields, Ned has become a seasoned performer in his short career. His percussion-infused pulse is perfectly mirrored by his kinetic energy and enthusiasm, pushing him to the front of the pack of new artists creating and developing the Australian movement. With his latest single 'They Say' getting love across the board at triple j, Kilter's sophomore EP 'Shades' is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases this year. With feature artists like Citizen Kay, Ev Jones and Ngaiire on board, 'Shades' is set to cement Kilter's place as one of the most exciting electronic producers coming out of Australia. With his 6-track 'Shades' EP dropping via etcetc this July, plus a constant string of live shows around Australia, Kilter is one name that's reverberating across the country for good reason. https://soundcloud.com/kilterbeats

***ODD MOB***
Robbie Jacobs & Harry Hope make up the Australian production/DJ duo, Odd Mob. In their short career span, they've been featured on Diplo & Friends on BBC Radio 1, landed sets at Future Music, Stereosonic & Mountain Sounds Festival as well as released a track that hit high rotation on Triple J. Since debuting one of their first original releases "Is It A Banger", they've created a fair bit of noise for themselves. The Brisbane duo created something that serves as a definitive checklist to know if a song is big enough to be worth your time (with a little help from Aziz Ansari). There is no doubt this does exactly what it says on the box, as the track has been on high rotation since its Triple J premier, and was awarded the #70 position in 2014's Triple J Hottest 100! The start of 2015 has been off to flying start with the "Is It A Banger" national tour taking over a slew of clubs and festivals, alongside interviews and guest mixes on some of Australia's biggest national radio stations & shows - Triple J, Shazam Top 20 & The Drop. Having already received support from Diplo, Indian Summer, The Aston Shuffle, Danny T, EDX & Mike Mago and supporting artists like Dillon Francis, Baauer & What So Not, it's clear that Odd Mob are an act to keep an eye on. https://soundcloud.com/oddmob

***HUMAN MOVEMENT ***
Introducing rising electronic act Human Movement, a whirlwind force of kinetic energy and dance floor aesthetics. Hailing from Australia, Human Movement's strengths lie within the diversity of their music. Masking in UK bass, techno, house and more, their upfront and heavy hitting musical aesthetics sees them wield the ability to take any components and require them into bona fide dance floor bombs. After causing a storm on the blogosphere through their first track, "Shake" (which amassed over 50,000 plays on their Soundcloud in just one month), Tripple J radio caught on and picked it up. The movement is gaining pace as they prepare to release their first full EP. Following the attention of "To Be," the boys were approached to host their very first guest mix on Skrillex's imprint, NESTHQ, receiving over 8,000 plays in week, well surpassing previous guest mixes from well-known artists. Following the spawned an organic demand based mini tour seeing Human Movement play 7 shows across 5 cities in Australia (2 shows supporting Wild Culture, 2 headline shows and 1 camping festival) To celebrate, they released "Paradise," which was premiered on Tripple J. Since then, they've put out a remix on Stoney Roads Records and a single, "Stranger" shortly after, receiving 50k plays within 5 days and reached #16 on HypeMachine, showing no signs of slowing down. https://soundcloud.com/humanmovement-aus

***DEUCES***

Deuces are a bunch of lords hailing from the surfer's paradise that is the GC of Australia. In between fixing gas pipes and travelling the world, Deuces have carved out a name for themselves as purveyors of sordid bass lines that know no genre. Having played at both Splendour in The Grass and Stereosonic as well as locking down a residency at TBC in Brisbane, their knack for knowing what, when, why, how and who to play has seen them support the likes of Mr Carmack, Hudson Mohawke, Disclosure, Diplo, RL Grime and What So Not to name but a few. Returning for their second year on the 1's and 2's Deuces' latest EP is out on the 29th July courtesy of Ripe Records. These fellas are not to be missed. https://soundcloud.com/deuces-music

***HELM***

Helm Spans 6 Members and is based in Newtown. They combine old and new to deliver a vocal-driven mix of house and psych-rock. In the past their sound has been described as 'fusion' but helm chooses not to identify with this term as it implies artificial meddling with, destruction of organic concepts. All enjoy a few after dinner mints, a nice spicy triple, and an early bedtime.
