CABINS
After a period away in the wilderness (eg at home) Cabins, Sydney's eminent disorganisationalists return wearing their musical hearts on their sleeves. It's been two years since Cabins debut mini album, 'Bright Victory' was released - two years can be a hell of a long time. Leroy, Brin, Dan and Jack have used this time both thoughtfully and recklessly. Cabins will preview new songs from their forthcoming album at OAF. These new songs arrive in a hire car that stinks of smoke. Sophistication meets gravel. PEAR SHAPE
Pear Shape's sound is playful, stripped-back and raw, with influences as
disparate as 1950's country music, The Beatles and Vampire Weekend. Having played with the likes of Jinja Safari, Wu Lyf, Step Panther and Pluto Jonez
in their budding career and with a debut EP release imminent, this fruit is ripe for the pickin'.

RUNNING GUN SOUND
Running Gun Sound banged their way out of the East Brisbane cottage scene in 2008. Taking the long road to pop city, Running Gun Sound make songs for early 90s model Ford Lasers. Their new record, 'FRIENDS', is all about life in the fast lane. The pop is good-like Orange Juice, with extra bubbles on a stinking sub-tropical Brisbane afternoon.

THE JONES RIVAL
The Jones Rival play a blend of psychedelic/garage/pop/rock. Sonic boom guitars, layered with precision percussion, drenched with buckets of buzzing bass, and topped off with infectious howling vocals.
