Due to lockdowns and interstate border closures this show has been rescheduled from Thursday 5th August to Thursday 14th October and now to Thursday 31st March 2022. All tickets purchased will automatically be valid for the new date. There will also be a window for refunds if the new date is not suitable. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Australian singer-songwriter andplatinum-award winning producer Garrett Kato has announced his first National Australian tour in two years to celebrate the release of his upcoming EP Kumamoto - out July 9. 

A string of powerful releases including his sophomore album “hemispheres” and latest singles “Be” and “Firestarter” has seen him perform sold-out shows alongside Damien Rice andZiggy Alberts and amass over 65 million worldwide streams.

On his new EP ‘Kumamoto’, Garrett pays tribute to his Japanese heritage with apowerful look at triumph and trauma, past and present. Written during the turmoil of2020, the songs were a way of coping with an uncertain future.

The Brunswick Artists' Bar and Brunswick Ballroom will be operating under the Victorian State Government vaccination mandate. Therefore, as outlined in the Victorian Roadmap, only patrons, staff and artists who are double vaccinated against Covid-19 will be able to enter the venue.
