Immigrant Union are psychedelic-folk band who formed over beers via a chance meeting between Brent DeBoer of the Dandy Warhols and Bob Harrow. Their friendship grew, they acquired the talented vocalist and keyboard player Peter Lubulwa, and over the years has seen members including Courtney Barnett who features on their new album Anyway.
They have supported international artists including Noel Gallagher, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Dead Meadow and performed at boutique music festivals including The Hills Are Alive, Boogie, Kyneton Music Festival and headlined the most recent Sydney Psych Fest.
In May 2015 they released their highly-praised second album Anyway and are heading out on a national jaunt this August/September. Credited with 4 stars from Rolling Stone, 4.5 stars from The Australian, 4 stars from The Age and 4 stars from The Music, the release of Immigrant Union's Anyway deserves a tour to match. This tour will take the band to cities and regional centres, stopping at Adelaide, Warrnambool, Canberra, Newcastle, Sydney, Maitland, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Maroochydore, Melbourne and Hobart.
