8 piece funk band Five Coffees make their long awaited return to the Basement. Currently being played on New York radio- the band will be premiering new material from their forthcoming EP. They will have you dancing 8 bars in! Special support from Blue Candy and Cooper Adams.

Five Coffees are an 8 piece funk/hip-hop band from Sydney. Gathering from all corners, the band is the collaboration of Conservatorium mates Dean Adams and Guy Elsom of anyone and everyone who has musical talent. They have recruited the excellence of MC Nick Knowledge and mastery of Murilo Tanouye to create a band that is cooler than Kool and the Gangs room Coolant! 

The band blends funk beats with energetic vocals. Debut EP Flatline reached no. 6 on the community Australian radio charts. Melbourne booker Andrew Masterson said Five Coffees were "by far the best band" he had discovered in Sydney. Be sure to get down to a night not to be missed! The band will have you dancing 4 bars in!

Please let us know at the time of the booking as a special request should you prefer not to share, and subject to availability we'll do our best to accommodate your request. Note it is not possible to join ticket holders together across ticket groups (meaning A Reserve ticket holders cannot sit with B Reserve etc).
