After capturing the hearts of audiences around Australia as well as internationally, with the two singles ‘Good When We Fight’ and ‘Good Girl’; Eluera continues from strength to strength with her new release ‘Moderation’. A bass forward, alt-pop record set to secure her as one of Australia’s most exciting up-and-coming acts.

The song details Eluera’s ‘all or nothing’ approach to life. Whether that be throwing herself completely into a new love interest, her inability to hide her emotions, or going over-board at a party. It is a struggle the Central Coast’s musician knows too well.

‘Moderation' Premiered on triple j’s Good Nights with Bridget Hustwaite on Monday this week with Bridget saying:

“Real gorgeous pop sounds, warm and effortless feel, catchy bass lines with an all or nothing attitude and approach to life lyrically"

Tuesday night triple j’s Declan Byrne opened up his Home & Hosed show with ‘Moderation' saying:

"So damn good, serving up smart, sad, moreish pop, I’m a little bit obsessed it's that good”

After writing the song over a year ago with Dylan Nash (Dean Lewis, Shannen James) the pair returned to the song with fresh minds, pairing the honest songwriting with a bass forward yet still perfectly balanced pop production.

The music video, shot and directed A FILM BY JACOB THOMAS, was shot at the Golden Age Cinema in Sydney.

Ironically shot after her first headline show was canceled due to Covid restrictions, Eluera performs ‘Moderation’ to an empty theatre, poking fun at the disappointing situation for her, whilst showcasing her vibrant and inviting stage presence in an ideal aesthetically pleasing visual, in isolation.

“I wanted to do something performance based after the cancelation of my first headline show. I thought it would be interesting to do to an empty theatre considering the situation we are all in at the moment.” - Eluera on the video.

Eluera is also excited to announce she’ll finally get to perform live on stage to an audience for the first time, unlike her music video.
