Melbourne Music Week & Chapter Music present Chapterfest 21

Founded in 1992, Chapter Music is one of Australia's longest running and most highly respected independent labels. Following on from 2012's 20th anniversary extravaganza at North Melbourne Town Hall, Chapter are celebrating their 21st birthday this year at The Residence, with a curated night of new and unexpected musical pleasures.

The bittersweet jangle-poppin' Twerps have played sell-out shows throughout the US, Australia and NZ, and released a number of critically esteemed records on international labels. Guitar slinging indie foursome Dick Diver have wowed festival audiences and produced one of the year's most cherished albums, Calendar Days. For one-time-only, these two Melbourne icon acts are joining forces to present an extraordinary collaborative set, which may or may not include covers, guest vocalists and various instrument swapping.

Also taking the stage is suave pop-meister Geoffrey O'Connor, with a preview of songs from his forthcoming second album, and a swag of new Chapter signings; Bushwalking, the Ancients, Darren Sylvester and the Stevens, the night will showcase the foresight and industry prowess that has helped shape Chapter as one of the country's most vital independent record labels.
