Bonde Do Role tore a hole through the global club scene with their debut 12" on Diplo's Mad Decent label and the album With Lazers that followed a trailblazing sound that references everything from 2 Many DJs to Alice In Chains, classic Miami bass and authentic favela rap.
The album became the essential soundtrack to parties worldwide, it attracted remixes from the likes of Architecture In Helsinki, Peaches and A-Trak, and offered up tracks for many and various mixtapes, including several high profile Fabric mixes and Ajax’s latest mix, Sweat It Out Volume 1.

The hit single ‘Gasolina’ famously caused a scandal around Australia when it was used on an advertisement for Bonds underwear only for the explicit lyrics to offend sectors of society (with the track inferring a sexual dalliance after school). Another single ‘Solta o Frango’ is currently being circulated globally via a Nokia ad campaign, and is also set to appear on FIFA 2008.

To the disappointment of hordes of Australians Bonde Do Role cancelled their Australia tour in late 2007, with audiences missing scheduled shows at Field Day and The Sydney Festival. However, after much anticipation, Bonde Do Role are confirmed to tour Australia for the first time and showcase their reconfigured lineup that features two fresh/hot MCs, Ana Bernardino and Laura Taylor. They arrive fresh from headlining the renowned Coachella Festival in late April, ready to introduce Sydney to their controversial and infectious sound. This should be one of the wildest and most enjoyable shows you will experience in a long time.

Supported by: Australia’s hottest new rap talent Killaqueenz, party boys Ro Sham Bo and Tha Fizz.

Gear up for one of the wildest shows of the year!!
