Belinda Carlisle returns to Australia in November/December for a special concert series with iconic Australian band 1927. Belinda Carlisle continues to tour the world doing her own solo shows as well as shows with her band "The Go Go's. Australia has embraced Belinda as her two previous tours have been sell-out events with her fans treated to all of the hits that made Belinda Carlisle one of the biggest solo female artists in the world.

Belinda rise to fame started when The Go-Go's formed in 1978, and recorded a number of hits including "We Got The Beat" and "Our Lips are Sealed" before breaking up in 1985. At this time Belinda embarked on her hugely successful solo career and released her first solo album in 1986. Her second album "Heaven on Earth" produced the world wide hit "Heaven Is A Place on Earth" which became a number one in both the US and UK charts and number two on the Australian charts. Another top 10 hit followed with "I Get Weak".

The hits kept coming on the following album 1989's "Runaway Horses" a top 10 album and featured the hit songs "Leave a Light On" and "Summer Rain". Belinda continued to produce hits including the 1996 classic "In Too Deep" showing that she has longevity in the pop music scene. The concert will feature a collection of her biggest and best hits and songs from the past and present.

Joining Belinda Carlisle for these shows is iconic Australian band 1927, who are on the road promoting their new album Generation-i as well as the SONY music release of the "Essentials" collection. 1927 returned to live performing in 2009 after a long hiatus and have continued to deliver stand out live concerts since then having performed headline shows themselves plus supports to major international artists like Roxette & Simple Minds. The pairing of these two artists will provide a truly unique concert experience for fans of both bands.
