BASED COMEDY NIGHT

Villa Noosa Hotel and Based Comedy are thrilled to introduce a fantastic night of comedy with some of the best comedians in the country joining us for an evening of laughs. We couldn't be more excited to welcome your headline act, all the way from Melbourne and one of Australia's finest, Greg Fleet. Joining him for the show, from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Jasmine Fairbairn and Dalton Whiskey will be supporting with another Australian favourite, Fred Lang, hosting the show.

Greg Fleet - Headline

Australian comedic icon Greg Fleet joins us from Melbourne for our very first show on June 30th - we couldn't think of anyone better! Fleety has been a staple of Australian comedy since the late 80s. His lengthy list of credits includes a three year stint on Neighbours, Full Frontal, The Comedy Channel's Stand Up Australia!, Underbelly, Spicks and Specks, Rove Live, his hilarious special Thai Die and most recently the film Me and My Mates vs the Zombie Apocalypse alongside Jim Jefferies and Alex Williamson. You've seen him on Melbourne International Comedy Festival Galas, performing all around the country. His incredibly personal memoir entitled These Things Happen released last year to fantastic reviews. He's one of the best comics in the country and we can't wait for him to perform at the Villa Noosa Hotel.

Fred Lang - Host

With decades spent in the funny business, host of the evening Fred Lang has pretty much covered every topic from every angle and brings his best to the stage - Fred manages to make everything hilarious. He's toured extensively, talking crowds all over the world into tears with his hilarious tales of growing up with Eastern European parents, life without children and stories that will leave you speechless. Fred is one of Queensland's best performers and we are thrilled to have him with us - every night of comedy with Fred Lang is unforgettable, we know you're going to love him!

Jasmine Fairbairn - Support

Jasmine Fairbairn is a Canadian comedian who trained in improvisation at Loose Moose Theatre with Keith Johnstone and Dennis Cahill. She has hosted and preformed in thousands of improvised evening comedy shows. Her stand-up explores being a modern Mum and dealing with everybody else around her. Jasmine is absolutely hilarious and has preformed storytelling for Yarn and Radio ABC's 'Now Hear This' as well as stand up at the Blue Moon Cabaret. She was a QLD RAW Comedy finalist in 2016.

Dalton Whiskey - Support

Dalton Whiskey is a Gold Coast comedian and one of the funniest young comics on the scene. Dalton's smiling, high-energy delivery clashes perfectly with quick punchlines and his sad tales of an anxiety-riddled existence. You'll be in stitches - we can't wait to see Dalton in action.
