Ausecuma Beats

Ausecuma Beats are more than just a band, they are a philosophy. Led by their fearless bandleader and master djembe player, Boubacar Gaye, the nine-strong ensemble demonstrate what can happen when a group of artists come together based on an idea - in this case, the idea of transplanting cultural heritage into a contemporary city. The band showcases what happens when people from the farthest flung corners of the world find themselves living shoulder to shoulder in a new environment. The result - nine unique individuals, each masters of their own craft and with their own personal histories, working together to create something exciting. This is the sound of our community.

Nikodimos and the Free Speakers

All improv, free speaking, no thought, all feeling. The band will always change, the spirit always remains the same.

Milo Eastwood (PBS)

Milo Eastwood is a Melbourne based DJ, Radio Announcer & Event Curator.

Starting as a teenager on community radio, Milo has spent the last 10+  years bringing music to the masses, and for the last 4 years has spent every weekday waking Melbourne up on PBS FM’s The Breakfast Spread covering a vast range of musical territory!

Milo’s work on Friday mornings on PBS has in recent times amassed a cult following of sorts from Melburnians who want to get their weekend started with a hefty dose of slamming house, soaring disco, latin rhythms and chilled out electronica.

His efforts behind the decks have seen him throw down sets at Daydreams, Melbourne Zoo Twilights, Golden Plains Music Festival, and his own flagship parties Love Sensation & La Dolce Vita to name a few.
