All dynamite starts with a spark and ends with a bang. Asta's latest single, Dynamite featuring All Day exploded onto Australian airwaves entering the top 10 of the ARIA Australian Artists singles chart. The burst of 80s infused R&B coupled with Allday's biting words are the perfect counterpoint to the rocket ship lyrical spirit of the single.
Now, Asta + Allday have just emerged from the danceteria with an elegant new video for Dynamite. Directed through the creative eye of Shane Shakkeus, the video is as coloured and infectious at the song itself and features the cavalier Asta and the laconic cool of Allday.
To celebrate the release, Asta has announced the Dynamite national tour in July & September presented by MTV Music and Select Music. Tickets go on sale from 9:00am on Friday 26 June.
The Dynamite tour is an OXJAM event, a month-long music festival in August to inspire music lovers to make a difference.
Tasmanian-born teenager Asta is an Australian singer-songwriter who rose to fame when she was named the triple j Unearthed High winner in 2012. Beating 860 entrants and six finalists to the top spot with her debut single My Heart Is On Fire, which was also voted into position 50 in the Triple J Hottest 100 in the same year. After releasing her second and third singles 'Escape' and I Need Answers, Asta took her sweet indie charm on the road and commenced her first Australian National tour in September 2013.
