Rockin' the new single and unreleased album - let's get it!

Warming up the amps on his favourite stage in town, Adelaide’s own Lucas Day is ready to celebrate the release of his latest single 'Right Where I Needed You' with a solid set of bluesy/aus-rock goodness.

After recording a bunch of new tunes, Day is ecstatic to play them loud and live with Max Tulysewski (Superdose Gangway, Street Legal) on drums, Anthony Costanzo (Wing Defence, Stormhorse) on bass and Rachel Coppen (Portra) on the angelic harmonies.

With openers Trav Collins Duo and Isaac Thomas Trio primed and ready - strap in for a night of guitar driven tunes, soulful songwriting and maybe a pint or two.

LUCAS DAY

A music fan from a young age, Lucas’ unbridled passion, charisma, and energy led to him working as a cruise ship musician, spending thousands of hours performing throughout North America and the Caribbean.

After five years at sea, Lucas launched his solo career via 2019’s Knots EP. Almost immediately, Lucas found his corner, with his work attracting thousands of listeners, and his live shows becoming must-see events.

Even as COVID halted progress, Lucas continued  to share some of his best work to date, with singles arriving against the backdrop of a global pandemic, and winning over legions of fans.

Now, he takes the next step in his already-impressive career, with his long-awaited debut album set to arrive this year. The product of a life lived with song at the forefront, the record shows why he’s become a globally-renowned artist that commands your full attention.

As he continues to rise, it’s clear that Lucas Day is no longer just a well-kept secret of Adelaide’s music scene, now, the world is watching, and he’s ready to shine.

ISAAC THOMAS

Adelaide’s Isaac Thomas creates emotive, guitar driven soul songs. Born into a musical family he began learning the guitar at age 6 with the guidance of idols Jimi Hendrix, John Frusciante and John Mayer. In 2015 he moved from Adelaide to Tennant Creek, a little town in the heart of the NT. It was here where he began backing local bands, doing session work for recording artists, running music workshops and coming to the realisation that music was just about the only thing he was good at. After playing a slew of shows under his own name, he was given an opportunity to record at the Winanjjikari music center… Three years later his debut EP ‘The Art of Procrastination’ was released and he moved back to Adelaide in the hopes to find more work and reach a larger audience. With vocals likened to Jeff Buckley and armed with his backing band Isaac Thomas is a name you’d want to keep your eyes on.

TRAV COLLINS

Trav Collins is an Adelaide based artist who has been playing shows all over the country for the last few years including festivals and headline ticketed events. He has been living on and off travelling around Australia in his van since leaving school and initially made a name for himself busking in malls around Australia. His latest single ''Fragile Minds" and debut EP "Rabbit Tracks"  have seen Trav's sound and songwriting evolve since the release of his self titled Live Album back in 2018. He writes songs of experience, self-discovery, emotion and things he believes in among other curiosities of life. With a newly formed band consisting of Cello/ Female Vocals/ keyboard and drums along with his massive new catalogue of unreleased music. Trav's live performance has had a complete face-lift after writing plenty of new songs during the quiet time in 2020. He is currently working on his next release which is scheduled for 2022.
