45 stars - Richard Kingsmill, triple j. Delicate and absolutely bone chilling. - Fasterlouder. Another stunning single from Melbournes Gosteleradio ... a sweet pyschedelic tune about blood lust and cities burning in sulphur. Beautiful Single of the Week - Simone Ubaldi, Beat Magazine. Following the release of their latest single The Reprisal, crowned Single of the Week in Beat Magazine, Gosteleradio are set to release their debut album Great Deeds Against the Dead on 7 May, with distribution via MGM. To celebrate the release, Gosteleradio will launch the long-player at The Toff in Town in Melbourne on Sunday 13 June (Queens Birthday Eve), with special guests to be announced.

Gosteleradios (pronounced Gostel-e-radio) accomplished debut album Great Deeds Against The Dead is a lustrous pop record with dreamy, harmony-drenched choruses layered on clouds of synths, guitar and bass. The album was largely recorded by Brent Pushon (Ouch My Face, Legends of Motorsport) at Head Gap Studios and mixed by The Calculators.

Initially started as a recording project for brothers Ben and Josh Strong (ex Plug-in City), Gosteleradio morphed into a three-piece when their good friend Marty Umanski (TTT) joined the group on drums, and the band extended its focus to the live circuit. Since late 2009 Gosteleradio have performed with TTT, Dead Dog (Liam Andrews and Rohan Reberio of My Disco), Peace Out!, Houlette, and i=it; released a split 12 with Houlette; and performed to a packed room at The Northcote Social Club in Melbourne. Described as stunning (Beat), beautiful (Beat), and absolutely bone chilling (Fasterlouder), Gosteleradio are excited to release Great Deeds Against the Dead next month. Ticket and support details to be announced shortly!
