Born from a mutual respect for one another’s eclectic music tastes and a desire to make music from their hearts for all people come Melbourne’s latest musical offering, All the Colours.

Citing themselves as progressive-vintage, Josh Moriarty, Josh Mann, Jono Toogood and Joe Bramley have come together under the moniker All the Colours, with the ambition of making great music and girls dance. With classic influences such as The Doors to Ennio Morricone and the failsafe classics off a Tarantino soundtrack, it's little wonder this band is quickly and surely making a name for itself.

Having played in bands touring around the world (Moriarty as front man for Miami Horror and Bramley in Betchadupa) the four friends have come together to create music that is both timeless and classic, but also holds a sincerity to it that sets itself well ahead of the pack. With wide stretching musical backgrounds and back catalogues between them, it is quite difficult to pin down where exactly All the Colours sit, but it's somewhere around that point in your memory when you realise music isn't all guys whinging about first world problems and being angry; there is also something in music that can be inherently unapologetically fun, whilst still sophisticated. Think 60's Motown dress sense akin to the Four Tops but with the swagger of Elvis and the guitar solo's of Zeppelin.

This is the kind of music that will find you tapping your hands by your side, cooly bobbing your head in time at the start of the show, but come the final song you'll be swinging along with reckless abandon and a huge grin that's there for a reason you're still not entirely sure of.

All the Colours are currently working on their debut album due out later this year. Their first single 'Love Like This' is out now, with an incredible video being served up by way of Guy Franklin (Kimbra, Delta Goodrem, Guy Sebastian).
