-In more exciting news, Southbound is expanding to a full two days, plus three nights camping.
That means campers arrive Friday night and settle in for the exclusive campers only entertainment, day trippers arrive Saturday morning for a full festival feast, which continues into a full day of rockin on Sunday and campers waving goodbye on Monday morning. And that means Base Camp will be stepping up a couple of notches more comfort, more fun, more goodness. Expect more news on this shortly.
Four stages, garnished with a colossal feast of art, culture and community at WAs most environmentally friendly festival (with a brand new 2009 A Greener Festival gong smiling down from the wall). A full day-by-day breakdown of acts will be revealed shortly.
Southbound will again feature many special initiatives, including ArtBound, which gives visual artists a chance to get involved in the cultural celebration that is Southbound. EcoBound will also be back greener and more eco-friendly than ever. While we will let you know more about EcoBound initiatives in the coming months, what we can tell you is that were cranking up our environmental commitment even further this year. The tree-per-ticket policy is back, where for every ticket sold well purchase and plant a tree plus all of last years pioneering initiatives, and much more.
