This summer, a vacant lot in Southbank becomes your backyard – that is, if your backyard is home to some of the biggest names in Australian and international indie, electro and soul music. Astroturf and street art, deckchairs and DJs, flowers and funk. This is the place to spend warm summer evenings. The Garden Party is the outdoor music festival with a difference. Join us in the Garden for drinks, great food and the simple pleasure of hearing and seeing your great acts on stage. It happens on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 25 January to 17 February. Here’s a taste of the talent: Art of Sleeping, The Bamboos, The Cactus Channel, Husky, Jonti, Jens Lekman, Kashmere Stage Band, Mia Dyson, Oscar + Martin, Saskwatch, Softwar, Tinpan Orange, The Trouble with Templeton, Van She, with more to be announced very soon.
