Katoomba Railway Car Park. Opposite the Gearins Hotel. We find this is a convenient place to meet. Directions: Car – Allow about 1 ½ hours. Driving from Sydney (Great Western Hwy) pass through the tunnel at Leura, through the lights at the hospital, then turn LEFT at the next set of lights - Goldsmith PL. The Gearins Hotel is on the corner. Park on your left. Train: 2hrs from Central. Walk down the ramp at Katoomba Station, turn LEFT and walk up to the street. Gearins Hotel is across the pedestrian crossing.
