Watch grunge legends Mother Love Bone reunite for the first time in 8 years
One of grunge’s pioneers, Mother Love Bone have reunited for a performance in the genre’s home of Seattle for the first time in eight years.
The band, who consist of Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament, as well as Bruce Fairweather and Greg Gilmore, reunited last night at Seattle’s Neptune Theater in honour of their late bandmate Andy Wood for the SMASH benefit show.
According to Pearl Jam Online, the band took to the stage to play nine songs, with four encores featuring appearances from local musicians Shawn Smith and Ohm Johari. The show also included a cover of Argent’s “Hold Yr Head Up,” which was performed by all of the participating musicians.
