Vampire Weekend play first shows in four years, debut new song
The twee princes in Vampire Weekend have made their first full live return in four years. The band played two shows in Ojai, California.
This is the first glimpse we’ve had at the bands expanded live line-up; featuring Springtime Carnivore’s Greta Morgan on keys, vocals and guitar and Human Natural’s Brian Robert Jones on guitar.
The first show saw the band play their debut self-titled album in full. The second saw the band premiering part of a new song.
“Flower Moon” is the first new material we’ve heard from the band since their 2013 masterpiece Modern Vampires of The City. It was written with Steve Lacey of The Internet. Listen to it below:

Oh, they also played “I Think Ur A Contra” with Amandla Stenberg on violin, which is beautiful and wholesome and everything we need in 2018.
