This Ariana Grande x Linkin Park mash-up is all you need to hear today
Linkin Park’s ‘Numb’ and Ariana Grande’s ‘Into You’ are undeniably two triumphs of modern music. ‘Into You’ saw Ariana cement her status as a bonafide pop queen for the modern era, whilst ‘Numb’ went onto become one of Linkin Park’s many career-defining songs that managed to transcend the worship of just rock fans.
Now, Linkin Park, although often teetering on the edge of pure pop for a lot of their career, have found quite a comfortable home amongst fans of things on the heavier side of life – not quite the parallel to Ariana Grande’s bubblegum, saccharine drenched sound.
A genius by the name SmadaLeinad has proved that in fact, the two artists complement each other perfectly with an epic mashup of ‘Into You’ and ‘Numb’. The tracks meld together in a powerful cacophony of synths and hooks – ‘Into You’s chorus carried by ‘Numb’s heavy instrumental, making for a stadium ready sing-a-long.
Ariana’s powerhouse vocal performance is amped up even further by the presence of distorted guitars – seriously, she could front a rock band if she wanted to.

In other mashup related news, someone blended two eras of Panic!, melding the tracks ‘I Write Sins Not Tragedies’ and ‘Say Amen’.
