Taylor Swift and Hayley Kiyoko’s ‘Curious’ team-up was a pop dream

Hayley Kiyoko is undeniably one of modern pop’s fastest rising stars, delivering a breath of renewed life into the genre with deeply intimate stories and her sultry yet sleek sound.

During the Boston leg of Taylor Swift’s reputation tour, Hayley was invited up onstage to perform a rabble-rousing rendition of her soaring synth-pop bob, ‘Curious’ with T-Swift herself.

Accompanied by a slew of backup dancers, the two bounced through syncronised choreography exuding ultra-confidence and sheer electrifying energy – seeing an artist as established as Taylor Swift take an up and comer like Hayley under their wing is incredibly special and inspiring.

Check out the footage below:

Hayley took to Instagram to showcase her appreciation and gratitude for the opportunity saying,

“It’s really hard to put into words how I feel and what just happened. I feel overwhelmed. Taylor, you reached out to someone who dreams of being heard and understood. Thank you for giving me one of the biggest gifts of my life, opportunity. And thank you for showing me that these crazy dreams of mine are possible.”
