Hey Southbound fans! Were you all set to attend the festival this January, only to have your heart broken when it was cancelled due to the devastating fires in the area? Well we have GREAT NEWS for you - today the festival organisers have announced that Southbound will be back before 2016 is over. That's right! Southbound makes its return the 27^th - 29^th December, 2016.

The best news is, this new date between Christmas and New Year's is here to stay for all the years to come! Go ahead and put it in your calendar peeps - you now have amazing musical plans over the holidays every year (and for those of you who are super organised, you're able to plan your holidays WAY in advance).

While the January cancellation was a tough blow for punters, organisers and artists alike, it was a much tougher blow for Yarloop and the surrounding areas. Having been greatly affected by the fire, the ongoing rebuilding process will be a costly exercise in both time and money - but thanks to some overwhelming generosity, the Southbound Benefit Concert raised over $150,000 in funds for those communities.

Keep an eye out for more announcements coming your way from Southbound - including an opt-in to donate to the appeal when purchasing tickets for the December festival. Also, while all ticketholders received full refunds for their tickets, Southbound will be offering an exclusive presale window for January ticketholders to purchase before the general public.
