Sacha Baron Cohen gets Dick Cheney to sign waterboard kit in new project trailer
Last week The Brag reported Sacha Baron Cohen was teasing his next project.
A video posted to Twitter sent Borat, Brüno and The Dictator fans into speculation mode with what looked to be a step further into the long-running warfare between Cohen and Donald Trump. The video featured snippets from Trump’s scathing comments about Cohen and the text “Sacha graduates”, along with a logo for the now-defunct Trump University.
Today, Sacha Baron Cohen has revealed he’s been working undercover on this latest project for over a year. And that it’s a “new show”, doing away with thoughts we would be expecting a feature film a la Borat.

“Imagine if Sacha Baron Cohen had been undercover secretly filming a new show for a year…” the teaser posted to Twitter states.
In the teaser, Cohen (in a still-to-be-confirmed disguise) asks former Vice President Dick Cheney whether he can sign his waterboard kit, a clear signal to comments made by Cheney in May this year where he said he didn’t consider waterboarding torture.
“That’s a first. It’s the first time I’ve ever signed a waterboard,” Cheney says in the teaser.
The video has already accrued over 120,000 views, and hundreds of comments like this:
