NYE on the Hill Announce Headliners - It's Shaping Up To Be A Massive End To 2017!

Music lovers, gather round! The countdown-to-the-countdown is on and we're so pumped about the first two acts that have just been announced for NYE on the Hill 2017.

Without further ado, they are... (drum roll please)

BALL PARK MUSIC & REGURGITATOR!

- BALL PARK MUSIC -

With no less than three J-award album nominations, six top 60 spots in triple j's Hottest 100, an Australian tour with Weezer, four critically acclaimed albums and a long list of sold-out headline shows and international festival slots to their name, red hot indie-poppers Ball Park Music have truly earned their place as one of the most respected acts in the country.

If you've been lucky enough to see them live you know just how incredible it is to be in the crowd at a Ball Park Music show - 'She Only Loves Me When I'm There', 'It's Nice to Be Alive', 'Coming Down', 'Everything Is Shit Except My Friendship With You' and the odd Queen cover thrown in for fun. Amazing songs. Ridiculously good live.

We've been pumping out their 2016 album 'Every Night the Same Dream' at every BBQ and road-trip for the last year, now we get to hear it and all their classics live on the Hill this NYE.

- REGURGITATOR -

Formed in late 1993, Regurgitator are without doubt one of the most iconic and important creative forces in Australian music history. Their debut studio album, Tu-Plang was released in May 1996; it was followed by Unit in November 1997 which was certified triple platinum. To date they have recorded eight albums in total (including one that was completely written and recorded in a Bubble at Fed Square).

Genre-defying, Regurgitator are renowned for their assembled mass of styles, sounds & attitudes, fuelled as much by their unmitigated irony & geek nature as their irreverent take on themselves, corporatisation of culture and human social behaviour. Their live shows are the stuff of legend and their career and influence spans the globe and continues to challenge and inspire all that music can and should be about... and now these seminal rock renegades are coming to the Hill.
