It may not be a My Chemical Romance reunion (or it may be?!), alas, Gerard Way has taken to Instagram to tease, what we can only suspect as new music.

Posting a photo of a pedal, fans have gone into overdrive begging for new tunes, a tour and of course suggesting whatever he is up to will be “fuzz-tastic”. We love a bad pun.

We haven’t heard new music from the emo king since he released his solo album ‘Hesitant Alien’ in 2014, but let’s be real, that’s felt like an eternity.

Back in March, Gerard revealed he works on new music every Friday but said, “it is far too early to have any kind of idea when new music will be coming out from me, or what it will be specifically. Would it be a solo record? A new band? Songs for the Netflix Umbrella Academy show?”

We think Saturday, May 12 is a good day. Wait, that’s today. GO AHEAD AND RELEASE SOMETHING ALREADY!
