Melbourne Heats Up With Annual Face The Music Conference!

Held on November 13-14, Face The Music is where the Australian music industry gathers for a thought-provoking and career-advancing program of talks, meetings and great gigs. Musicians, creative business people, students and music fans alike are all invited to participate!

There will be some awesome things happening at this year's conference, with a little something for everyone! triple j will host the triple j Listening Lounge where 20 artists and their management will have the chance to sit down and pitch their music to the key decision-makers!

For producers, Yamaha and Steinberg will be presenting a fascinating insight into the world of music production with The Evolution of Digital Music Production, run by Grammy award winner M-Phazes, Dub FX and Yeo. 

Get inspired by the industry's best, with speakers from a wide range of areas - from Mathew Coyte, Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of the Australian edition of Rolling Stone, to Peter Noble, director of one of Australia's favourite and most successful festivals, Bluesfest.

With this week's program release announcement, they've brought together a powerhouse trifecta of top-tier, homegrown music business leaders across artist management, touring, and record company leadership to open Face The Music 2015 - Mardi Caught (Warner Music Australia), Jodie Regan (Spinning Top Music), and Susan Heymann (Chugg Entertainment). Combined, this trio works here and abroad across steering the career of Tame Impala, managing a major label housing Ed Sheeran, Skrillex and Safia, and handling tours, recently working with Florence + The Machine!
