Looks like Charli XCX’s 2018 Australian tour has been confirmed

Angels, get ready. After waiting and admiring from afar, it looks like Charli XCX will be making her way to Australia for another tour. The modern pop queen last made her way down under in support of SIA during her massive stadium tour run, however, this time Charli will be gracing audiences with her dizzyingly vibrant show during Taylor Swift’s Reputation Australian leg.

A nifty fan has managed to point out on Twitter that the current Charli XCX tour hoodie details tour dates for Australia and New Zealand later on this year. It looks like the tour will start on the 19th of October in Perth and end on the 9th of November in Aukland.

The dates align with Taylor Swift’s Australian leg of the Reputation tour, which she’s already set to be part of as a support act alongside Camilla Cabello. Check out the pic below – unless it was a major merch printing error, consider yourselves getting prepped for a night of total pop perfection.

Number One Angel was undeniably one of 2018’s most celebrated pop releases – it combined futuristic yet classicly sleek production, bubblegum pop leaning hooks and an unmatched energetic intensity that screamed equal parts party and emotion. Considering releasing one excellent mixtape isn’t enough for Charli in one year, she released the transcendent track boys and just as the year began to shut up shop, she dropped Pop 2.

Hopefully, there is some time in her schedule for a few sideshows in between, considering she hasn’t performed a headline gig in the country since 2015.
