In the two years that Brisbane artist Mallrat has been on our radar she has already reached extraordinary heights. At just nineteen she’s already got two EP’s under her belt and last year her gorgeous single ‘Better’ landed her a place on triple j The Hottest 100 earlier this year.

Mallrats latest effort In The Sky is a triumphant slice of pop heaven. It is an album that ebbs and flows dreamily between indie-pop and hip hop. The EP combines biting, wise-beyond-her-years lyricism with a lush, atmospheric, synth-laden soundscape. It also features some of the catchiest hooks we’ve heard all year.
