We've curated our very own playlist full of fresh local music releases so that you can help support musos through this tough time. Check out some of our favourite new releases below.

Miiesha - Price I Paid

We've been big fans of singer-songwriter Miiesha for some time now and her recent release 'Price I Paid' is a real doozy. It's the third single taken from her forthcoming double EP project, 'Smoke & Mirrors' and we're absolutely loving the raw and emotional R&B energy this song brings to the table.

InDuna - Strange Fruits

New Zealand-based artist InDuna's latest release 'Strange Fruits' is a killer melting pot of high energy rap and simplistic rhythms that really let the lyrics speak for themself. Huge vibes all around for this one!

Mo'Ju - Wave

Last week singer-songwriter Mo'Ju shared the lead song from her upcoming EP 'O.K'. It's her first single of the year and if it's anything to go by, the EP is going to be HUGE. Paired back production throughout the track really allows Mo'Ju's vocals to flourish in an electronic synth-filled R&B wonderland.

Summer Thieves - Saturday Night

NZ party starters Sumer Thieves are back in action with the release of their latest single 'Saturday Night'. The track really leans into the band's unique indie-rock sound, incorporating some groovy funk-inspired riffs for good measure. It's a yes from us!

Navvy - Rock Bottom

Watch out Dua Lipa, there's a new queen on the block! 'Rock Bottom' is the latest dark-pop bop from New Zealand's fastest rising star Navvy. This track is the perfect heartbreak anthem, seamlessly fusing a killer 80s-inspired synth-pop bassline with high energy vocals.

Great Gable - Hazy

Perth four-piece Great Gable have just released their first piece of new music for 2021 and we're eager to hear more! The new single 'Hazy' is a surf-rock wonderland of sparkling guitar riffs and sun-drenched vocals that masterfully transports you straight to the most perfect sunny day laying poolside on summer vacay.

Amyl and The Sniffers - Comfort To Me

Iconic Melbourne punk outfit Amyl and The Sniffers have done it again, gifting our earholes with yet another cracking album full of chaotic, high-energy vibes. If you're having a crap day, we suggest maxing out the volume of your speakers and giving this album a spin.

The Buoys - Lie to Me Again

Aussie all-female outfit The Buoys have shared a brand new single titled 'Lie to Me Again'. It's the first release from their forthcoming EP 'Unsolicited Advice for Your DIY Disaster' and if it's any indication of what the EP has in store for us then sign us up! The vocals throughout this track are seeped in the kind of raw emotion that instantly transports you back to that moment when you finally broke free from that shitty relationship you had in your early 20's.

Simona Castricum - Grateful for the Heartache

Iconic Melbourne electronic artist Simona Castricum has released her first single of 2021 titled 'Grateful for the Heartache'. The new track pays tribute to late collaborator and friend Daphne Camf and it's 100% what we all need in our lives right now. A truly heartfelt track that stays true to Castricum's multi-layered technopop sound.

BROODS - Piece Of My Mind

Kiwi sibling duo BROODS are back in full force, dropping their first single in two years. The track titled 'Piece Of My Mind' is a synth-pop wonderland that compels you to dance around your living room like a madman.

Hallie - Lip Balm

Rising star Hallie has shared a new tongue in cheek single that is the perfect break up anthem you need in your life. Her infectious melodies, paired with playful and witty lyrics are a match made in lip balm heaven.

Ngaiire - 3

We're absolutely blown away by singer-songwriter Ngaiire's latest album release titled '3'. Ngaiire masterfully delivers the most powerful and honest record we've heard in a while, immersing listeners in a neo-soul wonderland.

Cosmo's Midnight - Titanic

We've got some serious summer road trip withdrawals after listening to Aussie duo Cosmo's Midnight latest release 'Titanic'. The single is the perfect funky bop that we know you've all been yearning for this year.

Children Collide - Time Itself

After an almost 10 year hiatus, post-grunge trio Children Collide are back in a BIG way, dropping their fourth studio album titled 'Time Itself'. The album takes you on a rock fuelled adventure ladened with punchy drum beats and fuzzy guitar riffs.

Jordan Rakei - Clouds

New Zealand-Australian singer-songwriter Jordan Rakei has shared his third single from his forthcoming third studio album and it has us eagerly awaiting the rest of the album which drops Fri 17 September. Rakei's new single titled 'Clouds' packs a punch, tugging on our heartstrings from the onset with his angelic vocals and raw lyrics.

Nganeko - Facade

Off the back of her 2020 debut 'Serious', rising Aotearoa R&B singer-songwriter Nganeko has dropped a beautiful new single titled 'Facade'. The track features glistening pop-inspired vocals, accompanied by a stripped-back beat.

Fat Freddy's Drop - WAIRUNGA

Last week iconic Kiwi 7-piece Fat Freddy's Drop released their latest feat 'Wairunga'. The album was recorded outside at a farm called Wairunga and features a wickedly eclectic mix of electronica, techno and reggae.

B Wise - Jamie

South West Sydney rapper B Wise is showing no signs of slowing down in 2021, with his latest arrival 'Jamie' serving up some serious vibes. The album features a massive list of exciting collabs with local artists including Sampa the Great, Milan Ring, JessB, ONEFOUR, Manu Crooks and heaps more. Think the same B Wise energy only 10x bigger. It's a yes from us!

1300 - Smashmouth

Sydney-based Korean rap group 1300 have hit the ground running since they dropped their first piece of music earlier this year. The outfit is back with another killer single titled 'Smashmouth' which delivers a charming blend of razor-sharp flow and heavy-hitting bi-lingual lyrics.

Masked Wolf - Bop

Well, the name speaks for itself. Rapidly rising rap star Masked Wolf's latest release is a total bop. The trap-inspired flowing beat throughout this track is perfectly complemented by the rappers punchy rhythmic flow.

Carmouflage Rose - A Night With No Moon

Brisbane rapper Carmouflage Rose is back in a big way with the release of his first EP in three years. 'A Night With No Moon' is drenched in sublime dance-hall inspired beats, that were definitely worth the wait!

Marlin's Dreaming - Lumia

Otepoti outfit Marlin's Dreaming have released their first track of 2021 and it certainly has our tick of approval. The brooding indie fulled single holds some serious healing power. If you've had a crappy day, crank the volume up, sit back, close your eyes and immerse yourself in the land of Lumia.

Commoner - Bite

It's all bark and bite when it comes to Melbourne-based newcomers, Commoner. The 3-piece inject a healthy dose of heavy into our lives with their debut single 'Bite'. We're expecting big things to come from this outfit, watch this space!

Sycco - Sycco's First EP

Rising Brisbane powerhouse Sasha McLeod aka Sycco has dropped her very first EP titled 'Sycco's First EP'. The seven-track EP presents a colourful and super playful mix of pop-laden hits that provide listeners with the perfect escape from reality.

Georgia Maq & Alice Ivy - Someone Stranger

Melbourne's Georgia Maq and Alice Ivy have teamed up on a brand new track that brings some serious dancefloor banger energy to the table. 'Someone Stranger' is the name and killer pop bangers are their game. Need we say more?

Shihad - Little Demons

'Little Demons' is the second release from the Kiwi rockers forthcoming 10th studio album 'Old Gods'. Written by frontman Jon Toogood after witnessing an Australian political debate on TV, the track brings Shihad's signature emotive power to the forefront, laying down some seriously hard-hitting lyrics to boot.

The Jungle Giants - Love Signs

Brisbane four-piece The Jungle Giants have hit one out of the ballpark with their fourth studio album, 'Love Signs'. Featuring a beautiful blend of uplifting electronic laden beats and dreamy sun-drenched vocals, this album is a definite party starter!

Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers - AHHHH!

Canberra's unapologetic punk-rockers Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers have just dropped a brand new single titled 'AHHHH!'. The rousing punk jam is drenched in major badass energy that's definitely helping us get through lockdown right now.

Rising Melbourne psychedelic jazz outfit Proto Moro have just released a belter of a debut album that we can't get enough of. The band break all boundaries with the album, bringing a stellar blend of jazz, funk, hip-hop and psychedelia to the table.

Tex Perkins & The Fat Rubber Band - Danger Has Been Kind

Iconic Australian rockers Tex Perkins & The Fat Rubber Band have just released a new single titled 'Danger Has Been Kind'. It's the first original release off the forthcoming album, due out later this year. The track features Perkins smooth rock-inspired vocals paired with a country-esque flare and killer electric guitar riffs.

Holy Holy ft. CLEWS - The Aftergone

Indie rock duo Holy Holy have just released a brand new track titled 'The Aftergone', which will feature on their forthcoming album 'Hello My Beautiful World'. The track features guest vocals from sister duo CLEWS and brings an energetic and EDM-driven sound to the table, with some punchy electric guitar riffs in there for good measure.

Baker Boy ft. G Flip - My Mind

Yolngu rapper Baker Boy has released a dope new track in collaboration with none other than Melbourne drumming legend G Flip. The single titled 'My Mind' which features on Baker Boy's long-awaited debut album 'Gela', is a feel-good funky vibe, drenched in punchy pop-ladened vocals and playful synth sounds.

Sydnee Carter - Bruises

Since winning the 2017 WAM Song of the Year, Perth based singer-songwriter Sydnee Carter has continued to reach new heights, collaborating with the likes of SLUMBERJACK and WasteLand. Her latest release 'Bruises' is channelling some serious Lauren Mayberry (CHVRCHES) vibes. It's the perfect chilled-out pop track to ease into the workweek.

Spacey Jane - Lots of Nothing

Perth indie-pop darlings Spacey Jane released their first bit of new music for the year the other week and we can't get enough. The new single titled 'Lots of Nothing' gives us serious summer FOMO, showcasing the outfit's signature playful guitar-laden sound and infectious vocals.
