If you're like us and LOVE live music - and want to help save it, there's a very BIG way to show your support this weekend! Keep Sydney Open is rallying the troops Sunday 21^st February in response to the growing discontent with the State Government's lockout laws and the negative effect they are having on Sydney.

Make history in Sydney! Meet at Belmore Park in Central at 12:30pm this Sunday 21^st February, where the rally will then make its way into the CBD just after 1pm, stopping by soon-to-close venue Bar Century to conduct a mock-funeral for all the closed venues, small business and jobs lost since the lockouts started.

Every person in attendance will make a difference; in 2010, live music advocacy group SLAM (Save Live Australia's Music) staged a rally in Melbourne in response to the lockouts, gathering 17,000 people and was instrumental in the removal of the Melbourne lockout in favour of other measures that support live music while creating a safer environment.

Why not continue to show your support for live music and entertainment by moving on after the rally to one of many events happening around Sydney that day? Keep Sydney Open is encouraging marchers to move onto Mardi Gras Fair Day in Victoria Park, Astral People's Summer Dance at National Art School, Harpoon Harry's or the Future Classic x Museum of Contemporary Art event.
