Hockey Dad announce massive 2018 ‘Join The Club’ Australian tour

There’s no denying Wollongong’s favourite duo Hockey Dad have gone from strength to strength in the last year. The band released their massive second full-length Blend Inn in March this year to huge commercial and critical acclaim, which saw them take on some the biggest venues the country has to offer on their Blend Inn national tour.

Now, the band have outdone themselves yet again, announcing the ‘Join The Club’ Australian tour set for September this year. Hockey Dad will be making their way around Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart, playing huge headline shows in each city. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday at 9am, and we suggest grabbing your tickets as soon as possible, considering the last was almost a totally sold out affair.

It was recently revealed by The Industry Observer that Hockey Dad are triple j’s most played artist this year so far, with the Blend Inn tracks ‘I Wanna Be Everybody’ and ‘Join The Club’ featuring in the list of the top 25 most played of the year.

Prior to the band heading out on their massive national tour, they’ll be taking to the stage of Splendour In The Grass alongside fellow Aussies Gang Of Youths and Amy Shark, as well as making a welcomed hometown return for Yours & Owls festival in Wollongong later this year.
