Heard "The Buzz" On Southbound 2016? The Festival Returns This December 2016 With HERMITUDE!
Heads up Perth peeps - we've got a tasty little announcement coming your way, right now! If you were #devo when the major WA fires led to the cancellation of Southbound Festival this January then you'll be jumping for joy to know that it's bigger, it's better, and it's BACK in 2016.
Southbound's moved to brand spanking new dates this year, so lock in the period between Christmas and New Years as your dedicated migration dates to Southbound every year for years to come! This year's festival lands on the 27th - 29th December, mark it in pen in your calendar (don't even worry about pencilling it... you're going for sure!).
So, who's the first act on the Southbound line up? They've dropped two absolute bangers recently and have fans in a frenzy awaiting the follow-up album to Dark Night Sweet Light. That's right, Australia's favourite electronic duo HERMITUDE will be blowing the roof off the big top on opening night with new tunes and old faves like "The Buzz", "Hyperparadise" and "Speak of the Devil." Make sure to grab the limited three day ticket option if you want to witness their fitness, as that will be your only opportunity to see them headline the opening night!
It also goes without saying that you guys LOVE Southbound, and REALLY LOVE your South West community... Following the fires that led to the January 2016 cancellation, you helped raise $150,000 toward the appeal to help communities devastated by the fires. That's an impressive feat, Southbound fans. There will continue to be fundraising initiatives to support these communities in the lead up to the event, AND at the festival. Keep an eye out for more ways to make a difference.
If you purchased tickets to the cancelled January 2016 festival, you'll get an exclusive 48 hour window to secure your spot this December - you should be receiving a special email from Southbound HQ today. Bought tickets for January's event but didn't receive an email? Get in touch with our team at tixsupport.moshtix.com.au!
Tickets are on sale to the general public from 9am Friday 22nd July. Grab your mates and start planning!
