Harry Styles is producing a sitcom that’ll give you an even deeper insight into his life
It’s already been established that Harry Styles can pretty much do absolutely everything. Aside from carving his name in history alongside One Direction, he’s managed to forge a massively successful solo career, take a leap into the wide world of Hollywood and now, the wunderkind is also set to try his hand at executive producing.
According to People, a new sitcom all about the life and times of Harry Styles will premiere on CBS this fall. The show will be called Happy Together and will star Damon Wayans Jr. and Amber Stevens West, who play a couple living in London who a young artist while he figures out his next path.
The plotline will follow a pretty pivotal period in Harry Styles’ life – it’ll follow the baby-stages of One Direction’s jaunt on X-Factor to their historical superstardom. During this period, Harry lived with his friend Ben Winston, who opened up to Rolling Stone last year about what it was like to house Harry just as he was becoming a superstar.
“Those 20 months were when they went from being on a reality show, X Factor, to being the biggest-selling artists in the world,” Winston told the magazine last year.
“That period of time, he was living with us in the most mundane suburban situation. No one ever found out, really. Even when we went out for a meal, it’s such a sweet family neighbourhood, no one dreamed it was actually him. But he made our house a home. And when he moved out, we were gutted.”
