Donald Trump’s ‘Hollywood Walk of Fame’ star may be removed

In what may be the deepest blow to his ego of all time, Donald Trump may have his star removed from the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame. The fate of his star rests upon a vote to be held by the West Hollywood City Council this week, but not for the reason you think.

A case put forward by the West Hollywood Mayor Pro Tem John D’Amico and Councilwoman Lindsey Horvath urges the city of Los Angeles, and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, to remove the star. Their request for the removal is “due to [Trump’s] disturbing treatment of women and other actions.”, and does not mention the vandalism the star has sustained.

A staff report also makes several other arguments for doing so, including the separation of children from their parents at the U.S. border and “denial of findings from the United States intelligence community regarding Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.”

The soggy cheeto received his star in 2007 for his work as producer of the Miss Universe pageant, contrary to popular belief that it was to do with the success of his hit show The Apprentice.

The star was vandalised first in 2016 by James Otis, who pled no contest to the charges and avoided serving time. Instead he received three years probation, 20 days of community service and had to pay $4,400 to replace the star.

In July of this year, Austin Mikel Clay was arrested for allegedly smashing Trump’s star with a pickaxe. This past Monday he was formally charged with one count of felony vandalism. His bail has been set at $20,000, which original vandal James Otis has offered to pay. Otis even plans to meet Clay as soon as he is released.
