Courtney Barnett will be taking over the ‘rage’ couch this weekend
If you’ve got any plans for this Saturday night, now’s the time to cancel them and settle down in front of the couch for an evening of classic tunes on Rage, this time picked by none other than world-beating Aussie muso Courtney Barnett.
This Friday will see Courtney Barnett release her highly-anticipated second album, Tell Me How You Really Feel. While Courtney might be over in the US at the moment to play yet another world tour, that didn’t stop the local legend swinging by the ABC studios to pick some of her favourite tunes for this week’s episode of Rage.
We're pleased as punch to have @courtneymelba guest programming Rage this weekend, playing the likes of PJ Harvey, Paul Kelly and Sampa The Great.

Having picked tunes by the likes of international icons X-Ray Spex, Sleater-Kinney, Grace Jones and PJ Harvey, you can also expect some brilliant tunes by stunning local artists like Camp Cope, Sampa The Great, and even Paul Kelly.
Supplemented by a number of her own tunes as well, this is going to be one heck of a night in (or a late morning, if you prefer to watch the earlier screening on Saturday morning.)
While Courtney might be overseas right now, you won’t have to wait too long before she makes her way back to home soil, with a run of Aussie shows scheduled for this August and September, giving eager fans their first chance to hear songs from the new album in full.
