Contemporary Music Roundtable Returns To Sydney This August - Full Program Announced!

If you're in the music biz, this one's for you.

Music Australia's Contemporary Music Roundtable conference returns to Customs House Sydney from 1-3 August this year. The event's grown quickly over two years, now establishing itself as Sydney's major music business conference, and the national go-to event for industry policy and development.

Music Australia CEO Chris Bowen says "the Roundtable is a national brains-trust for innovation and development in contemporary music, and part of Music Australia's contribution to Australian music industry growth."

Taking place over a huge 3 days this year, with support from all of us at moshtix and City of Sydney, the conference will see 200+ delegates gather for an insightful mix of presentations, panels, outcome oriented sessions, and networking covering all facets of live and recorded music, audience engagement, innovation and business development.

We're also hosting an amazing networking opportunity which is included as part of your delegate pass, which will see everyone on board for a stunning Sydney harbour cruise on the evening of Wednesday 2 August. Chat with like-minded indivduals, catch up with speakers you've listened to throughout the conference and meet other key professionals while enjoying views of the harbour at night.

You can check out the full program here which focuses around this year's key strategic areas for development, including:

- Audiences for Live Music consumer trends, youth engagement and national initiatives
- Mental Health in the Music Workplace - key developments and national progress
- Music Innovation - success stories and opportunities and growing the music industry pie
- Specialist Forums - Music Educators, Regional Music Makers, and City Sound Solutions
- State of the Industry Report - industry chiefs share key data on sales and attendances
- Women in Australian Music - an inclusive approach and action plan for positive change

Speaking at the conference you can catch Andrew Jenkins (President, Universal Music Publishing Group), Councillor Jess Scully (Councillor, City of Sydney), Kat Dopper (Founder and Director, Heaps Gay), Bow Campbell (Director of Musicians, Media, Entertainment & Arts Alliance (MEAA)), Tom Mee (Manager - Artist & Label Services, Spotify Australia & New Zealand) - and MANY more - including our own Managing Director here at moshtix, Harley Evans.
