Synth-pop dynamos CHVRCHES have just released a stunning cover of Rihanna’s pop ballad ‘Stay’. The cover is stripped back, with Lauren Mayberry’s vocal performance sending a shot straight to the heart.

It was done as part of the ‘Spotify Singles’ series; recorded at both the Spotify Studios in New York and at concerts, the series boasts a huge range of artists having recorded originals and covers.

Love Is Dead

The Scottish trio recently released their latest album ‘Love Is Dead’, a wonderful follow-up to their 2016 hit Every Open Eye. Included in the CHVRCHES Spotify Session was a stripped-back version of the album’s lead single ‘Get Out’.
