You know Joe Cocker, maybe you even love him (RIP)! There's no mistaking those gritty soul vocals that are forever imprinted into our memories. The voice of Aussie singing legend Doug Parkinson is often described the same way. It's a match made in heaven.

Cocker was undoubtedly known for his interpretations of others' songs, which often surpassed the celebrated originals. After working on records with the Beatles, Ray Charles, Billy Preston, the Animals, and Traffic (among others), he magically reworked their songs into many number one hits of his own. 

It's fitting then that Australia's own Doug Parkinson with his gravelly, soulful voice has chosen to present an ultimate tribute to Joe Cocker. Often described as exciting and impassioned, along with being a master of interpreting others' songs, Doug Parkinson has created a show that includes his own hit records like Dear Prudence, and his interpretations of other legendary artists including Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Michael McDonald and the Beatles just to name a few!
