Australia’s PS Music Group expands [EXCLUSIVE]

PS Music Group, a local booking agency, promoter and management company, has expanded operations with the launch of a second national office.

TIO can exclusively reveal the previously Brisbane-based music company has now launched in the live music capital of the world, Melbourne.

Company Director, Will Watson, will helm the Melbourne office while the Brisbane office remains in operation under the reign of the current team members, which include Kat Bermingham, and senior agent, Braydon Ritson.

Since its launch in 2016, PS Music Group has grown to represent 50 domestic artists and grown its tour promoting services. It’s artist roster includes Melbourne rockers The Sinking Teeth, electro-folk act Owen Rabbit, Tijuana Cartel, Bobby Alu, The Cactus Channel, and Thando.

Meanwhile, PS Music Group have toured the likes of LA Witch, Canada’s Frazey Ford for Mullum Music Fest, and Hot 8 Brass Band.

Will Watson commented on the expansion, saying:

“We just celebrated our second birthday and our operations have matured to a point that now make it possible for me to relocate and expand our reach. It makes sense for us to be operating in the same city as many of our clients and acts,” he says.

“I’m thrilled to be moving to Australia’s cultural hub and working with the creative community in Melbourne.”
