Ahead of this weekend's historic first running of Australia's richest horse race, The TAB Everest, The Australian Turf Club today announced a new long term partnership with Australia's largest independent ticketing company, moshtix. The deal will see moshtix providing a first-of-its-kind integrated ticketing and marketing solution for ATC's multiple stakeholder groups across its flagship venues, including Royal Randwick and Rosehill Gardens.
In an early win for ATC patrons, pre-buying tickets will now be cheaper and easier than ever before, and advance sales for this weekend's first ever edition of The Everest are already at record levels with ATC officials encouraging all punters to secure their tickets before race day to avoid missing out.
ATC's Head of Customer Experience, Adam Smith, said of the moshtix partnership "ATC has a clear vision in terms of how we want to combine relevant technology and innovation with good old fashion local customer service to create a fan and stakeholder experience that's second to none in Australia, and moshtix proved they were the best partner to help us deliver on this. In the short time we've been working with moshtix, we've already seen an uplift in pre-sales through a better ticket purchase process, cheaper fees, and a more integrated technology solution at the venue. Advance sales for The Everest are already at record levels for Royal Randwick. Over the next 12-18 months we'll be rolling out a range of new platforms and solutions to the various customer groups that make up the ATC audience. This will eventually give us a solution that we believe will be a first of its kind in Australia".
