A ‘Stranger Things’ prequel book is on its way
Netflix and Penguin Random House are partnering together to release a collection of books based on the critically acclaimed series.
The first – a behind-the-scenes companion book titled Stranger Things: World Turned Upside Down: The Official Behind-The-Scenes Companion. As well as an untitled gift book that will offer readers “advice, wisdom, and warnings from the Stranger Things world,”.
These books will be followed by a prequel novel revolving around Eleven’s mum and her life before she met the tyrannical Dr. Martin Brenner. The novel will be written by Gwenda Bond and is set to be released at the end of 2019.

That’s not all! Dark Horse comics revealed that they will be releasing a four-part comic book series based on the series in September. The story will take place during the first season and will explore what happened to Will whilst he was trapped in the Upside-Down.
The next season of ‘Stranger Things’ won’t be out till next year, so we’ll be able to keep ourselves occupied with this bit of gorgeousness till’ then.
